  • It all starts with keyword research, so if you haven't done that yet, click here.

  • When using the Keyword Research Tool, look for keywords that are searched more than 13,000 times within a month.

  • Don't try to optimize your page for multiple keywords. Each page should focus on one keyword only.

  • You should have no less than a 250 worded page.

  • Use your keyword in your title tags, in the headline of your page, in the description of your page, and of course, in the body of your text.

  • Your keyword once, in your first sentence.

  • Your keyword should be used no more than once every twenty words. If you use your keyword on the page anymore than that... it's considered "keyword stuffing" and Google doesn't like that and your site will be in jeopardy of being kicked off the Google Search Engines.

  • You should bold, italic, and underline you keywords at least once in your page. When you do this, the search engines look at this as being important.

  • Be sure to use alt tags for your images because the search engine robots can't read them if you don't. Just use the keyword your optimizing the page with as the alt tag.
  Warning: Don't use more than two of your keywords as an                    image alt tags.

  • Include your one keyword in the last sentence of your content.
